Where we ship
United States only, for now. We'd rather do domestic properly than do international badly.
Who ships your order
Most of what we sell is shipped directly by our partner suppliers through Shopify Collective, not from a Barely Normal warehouse. Printed apparel is made to order. An order with several items can therefore arrive in more than one package, each with its own tracking.
Processing time
Each supplier sets its own handling time, and it varies by product. The delivery estimate for your address is shown at checkout before you pay.
Apparel is made to order. Allow two to five business days for production before shipping begins.
That second one catches people out, so we'll say it plainly: your shirt is printed after you order it. It is not sitting on a shelf. Add production time to transit time when you're estimating arrival.
Transit
Transit time depends on the shipping option you choose at checkout. Heavier items such as tires may cost more and move slower. You'll get tracking by email as soon as each package ships.
We do not ship loose lithium cells or battery packs
We don't sell them, so we don't ship them. Loose lithium battery packs are regulated as Class 9 dangerous goods, which brings packaging, labeling, and carrier requirements we're not set up for. Rather than do that badly, we've left battery packs out of the catalog entirely.
Some electronic tools, such as rechargeable meters, contain a small built-in battery. Those ship as ordinary equipment with the battery installed.
Lost, damaged, or stolen
Damaged in transit: photograph the box and contents and email us within seven days. We'll make it right.
Tracking says delivered but nothing arrived: check with neighbours and your local carrier first, then email us and we'll help you open a claim.
Wrong address: we ship to the address you enter at checkout, so double-check it. We can change an address only before a label is created. If a package comes back to us as undeliverable, we'll re-ship once you cover the second label.
Larger items require a street address rather than a PO box.
